Black Bear Trophy Camp is located in Northwest Minnesota. Adjacent to the Thief lake Wildlife Management area, where corn & oat fields fringe the forest and swamps. This area is known for 300lb+ black bear as well as a 30% chance of a color phase bear. This is a no-quota area where bear licenses are purchased over the counter without a lottery draw.

Black Bear trophy Camp is a mom & pop operation which only takes 2-3 hunters in camp, guaranteeing your own personally active bait sites. Either bait sites are over corn & oat fields, blueberry swamps, chokecherry ridges and beaver bogs.
The cabin is fully accommodated with hot and cold water, shower, indoor toilet and satellite tv. There is a fridge, freezer, stove, and microwave for your cooking convenience. In addition stores, bars, and restaurants are within 10-20 miles of camp if needed.
Booking Camp & Baits $2000
No-quota license can be purchased over the counter or on-line.
Non-resident $231 {not-included}
You are welcome to bring your own stands & bait if you choose. ATV is available. We will help you track, haul and skin your trophy and store it in our freezers for your convenience. We can refer you to a local taxidermist and meat processor if needed.
All hunts 50% deposit, with the remainder due upon arrival.
The first 2 weeks of September are the most successful time to hunt.
